Lessons Learned • Best have your basic governance environment setup first. • Not ideal to start the process whilst the business is going through a strategic change cycle. • IT is not strategically placed within the organisation (reporting to Finance a lot of the time) • Stake Holder engagement is almost always a major risk. • Change Management is rarely fully scoped. 16
