machinery, design installations, check the ergonomics, visualize hidden installations, create
procedures

  • #7: Connecting multiple sides is powerful! Take Uber. It may seem to be yet another middleman that takes value without creating a value. The value of Uber does not increase for you when many other passengers join Uber. However, indirectly it will play a role. If only a few passengers join, then there will be also not many drivers who increase waiting times and reduce the value of Uber to you. But if the number of drivers increases as well – this will lead to better geographic saturation, faster pickups, lowering driver downtime, making them earning more money and disrupting traditional business model which in the end leads also to lower prices for the end-user (passenger)

  • #17: First step is to chose a physical space to be scanned. Spatial mapping technology allows to build a 3D mesh of a room, manufacturing space and even entire facility. Such a mesh is a foundation to be a digital twin of a contruction and subject to further processing.
  • #18: Having the mesh built this solution is ready to classify the meshes, identify relevant object and related data. In other words, we are able to understand the physical space, find walls, floors, ceiling and platforms and use them for automatic sizing and dimensioning without additional scanning infrastructure setup. This is an easy way to build quickly a rich context for further operations like: Full scale visualisations Component clash detection Design review/correction BIM data geo-location at construction site …and many more
  • #19: Together with AR-assisted measurements engineers will quickly capture the context and real dimensions both during onsite surveying procedure and later at desk as the mesh is being built in 1:1 scale and can be also analyzed later.
