In 2013, UBC Library conducted a LibQUAL survey to assess perceptions of library services among faculty and students, garnering 918 valid responses, with an overall quality rating of 7.3, unchanged from 2010. Key findings indicate an awareness gap regarding library offerings, high expectations for online collections, and a strong appreciation for customer service, while there are notable concerns about the usability of online resources and the need for varied library environments. The analysis is based on thematic coding of 40% of written comments provided by respondents, highlighting areas for improvement and ongoing user engagement.
