Project description: This is a project to validate order interface flow from external front end
applications to Oracle financials AR module. I am responsible to validate Order to Cash
Interface(OCI) flow. This is basically a kind of data base testing. There are several external
applications where the end user creates orders. As Oracle EBS financial is a backend processing
application, all orders must reach it through a separate middleware application. This project is to
validate data flows and develop the interfaces to flow the data. For This project we are following agile
methodology. The project SME and BSA teams are located in Singapore. PMs and development
teams are in Bangalore test team is located in Hyderabad.
PROJECT 2 DETAILS:
Project : Oracle R12 EBS Financial Applications AR module implementation.
Duration : Since September 2014 to March 2015

Project description: This is a project to implement Oracle Financials application Account
Receivable module for backend financial transactions management of Dell Inc. This application
testing includes data migration from existing application (DOMS) to current application Oracle apps. I
am involved in testing different scenarios in General Ledger (GL), and Order Management (OM)
Account Receivable(AR) modules of oracle apps from order interface to Invoice creation. In this
project I am responsible to test the different scenarios in order creation, order capture, order
validation, invoice creation, customer data interface. It also interlocked with Accounts Payable (AP)
module, SAP application and 55 other external applications. Project teams in different locations like
USA, India (Hyderabad and Bangalore). This project followed waterfall methodology.

Project description: This is an Oracle EBS implementation project. In this project we need to
implement and test Oracle Financials application Account Payable module functionality and interface

Account Receivable, Oder Management and other 55 external applications. This is dell internal project
to develop an application to manage its Account Payable transactions in the company. The project
teams located in Brazil and India,(Hyderabad and Bangalore). This project was done using waterfall
methodology.
Role Description:
 Analyzing the BRD and SRS documents.
 I have been involved in Account Receivables, Account Payables, Order Management
Collections and General Ledger, and also, backend data flow validation with SQL queries.
 Interacting with Business Analyst to get clarity on business requirements.
 Interacting and attending meetings with test lead to understand the test requirements and
scope.
 Identifying the functional requirements and writing test scenarios and test cases.
