This document provides guidelines for a two-part assignment on leading a culture of excellence. Part I involves creating an original concept map portraying the relationships between an organization's mission, vision, and values, and how they support a culture of excellence. Part II is a 3-4 page paper discussing characteristics of excellence, the selected organization's mission, vision, and values, and 3 leadership strategies that promote excellence and support the Chamberlain Care Model. The assignment addresses learning outcomes on leadership, the MSN nurse's role, and cultivating healthy work environments.
