  • Co-creating the future indeed! At CBS Students, we’re proud to be part of shaping the student experience at CBS. To do this effectively, maintaining a strong and open line of communication between CBS Students and CBS leadership is very important to us. A close relationship allows us to exchange perspectives and explore how we can continue improving university life for everyone at CBS, academically, socially, and beyond. Today, our president, Harrison Krampe, and CBS President Peter Møllgaard sat down for their monthly "catch-up" to discuss all things CBS related. Curious what they talked about this time? Check out Peter’s post!

President / Rektor at Copenhagen Business School

Co-creating the future! Today I met with Harrison Krampe, the president of CBS Students for our monthly meeting to work on making Copenhagen Business School an even better place to study and to enjoy extra-curricular activities. We discussed the ongoing collaboration between CBS and CBS Students, how we can support each other, how the student-run café Nexus is being revamped, what to emphasize during the introduction week next semester, and how to communicate #NordicNine, nine transversal capabilities for a positive future, in a deep way to students. How do you think we could improve our study life at CBS?

  • 𝗖𝗕𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗺ø𝗱𝗲𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 🇩🇰🎤🏛️ As any good student union should, also CBS Students took part in Folkemødet on Bornholm, Denmark’s largest democratic festival and a unique space where students, politicians, and organisations come together to shape ideas and spark change. As part of our visit, we joined the gameshow “Danmarks Bedste Studieby (Denmark’s Best Student City)“, hosted by our friends at the Studenterrådet ved Aarhus Universitet (SRAU). In the show, local politicians from across different parties represented major student cities across Denmark in a lively competition to decide what makes the best place to study. Our Vice President of Academic Politics, Mikkel Andreassen, joined the judging panel alongside other students, while Adnan Al-Adhami served as host. The event sparked thoughtful and entertaining debate on key issues like housing, transportation and student life. A big thank you to SRAU for inviting us to take part in an event that was both fun and insightful. We’re already looking forward to Folkemødet 2026, where we hope to take on an even more active role in shaping the official conversations that bring people and perspectives together. Until next year, thank you to everyone we met and engaged with. We’re going home inspired. Photos by Mikkel Ejlertsen

  • 𝗔 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘂𝘀: 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻à𝗰𝗶𝗼 🌟 We are excited to share an Interview with Inês Domingos Inácio - a dedicated colleague who not only excels in her daily work but has also recently been elected as Staff Representative for Nexus. In this new role she represents the Interests of the entire team and is committed to ensuring that Nexus continues to grow and improve. 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘂𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺? That is an interesting story. I was still in Portugal browsing through the CBS Instagram and related Instagrams just to start knowing what is up in the university I would join, when I stumbled across the Nexus post about wanting to hire staff. I needed a job, the cafe seemed very nice so I applied and I got in. I didn't know of Nexus before this but it was an amazing surprise. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝘀? Definitely, the vibe. It's a place on campus where you can go and just study, or be friends enjoying a beer or some coffee. The music is always nice and quiet for the majority of the time. 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘂𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻? That Nexus has 6 rooms besides the bar. I think people would expect like 2 or 3. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗼-𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘂𝘀? I am very bias in this question. The Sour Bitch is my signature cocktail, so I always recommend my own creation.

  • 𝗧𝗵𝗲 "𝘁" 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗕𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 😎 Yes, being part of CBS Students is about standing up for student interests, running initiatives, and making things happen on campus. But it’s also about being part of a group of interesting and passionate young people. To celebrate this amazing group, we took a break from emails, meetings, and initiatives to hang out in the park together last Thursday. Since the weather was on our side, we brought some drinks, ordered a bunch of pizza, and played Spikeball and Kingsball until the sun went down ☀️ 💐 It’s easy to forget how important these moments are when things get busy, but they’re a big part of what keeps us going. So if you're ever thinking about getting involved, know that you’re not just joining "work", you’re joining a great group of "friends", as cliche as that might sound...

  • Strengthening Sustainability in Education at CBS 🌱 Yesterday, CBS Students gathered student representatives from study boards across all of CBS for the second Senate Meeting of the semester, hosted by our Vice President of Academic Politics, Mikkel Andreassen. The meeting focused on how sustainability is and could be better integrated into education at CBS. We were joined by three inspiring guest speakers: Peter Møllgaard, President of CBS and Chair of the Danish Climate Council, Rune Bak, Vice President for Academic Affairs at DSF, and Max Holliday, Carbon Removal Associate and sustainability professional. Together, we explored the progress Copenhagen Business School has made through initiatives like the Nordic Nine competencies and the work of the Green Office, as well as the challenges that remain. Peter emphasized the importance of embedding sustainability into learning goals across all programmes, while Rune highlighted how lasting change at universities often begins with student driven initiatives. In group discussions, the student representatives reflected on how sustainability can become a natural and visible part of academic life, embedded across fields and courses rather than treated as an optional element. Thank you to all participants for your valuable contributions and to our guest speakers for helping us set the direction for the work ahead.

  • After a well deserved Easter break, CBS Students is back with new a interview series: "𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗕𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀!" 🌟 In this series, we present students who have made an impact at CBS whether through academic excellence, campus involvement, or representing Copenhagen Business School on a larger stage. We’re kicking things off with Martha Johanne Schou , a BSc International Business & Politics student (Class of 2025), who recently made history as part of the first ever Danish team to reach the final of the European University Debate Championship. 🇩🇰🏆 In our conversation with Martha, we dive into her experience at the championship and explore why she believes debate is a crucial skill in today’s world. Enjoy!

  • 📍CBS Students meets Frederiksberg Kommune! • 𝗕𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀! 📝 That was the theme of our first CBS Students Open Meeting which we held yesterday at Copenhagen Business School on the inside patio in front of Nexus. It was a great chance to share what we are working on, how to get involved, answer questions and simply be available for everyone interested in CBS Students. We really enjoyed meeting motivated and interesting students, and thank all of the attendees! Events like this truly build transparency and encourage participation, a mission we have been on since the beginning of our term. If you missed this meeting, don’t worry, there will be more events like this in the near future! For details on the next meetings, follow our Instagram page @cbsstudents where we post all upcoming events. We are looking forward to more conversations and opportunities to drive student interests in the right direction 🌟

  • 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗣 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿! 🌟 Last but not least our Organisational VP, Casper Voogt! We asked him a few questions about his motivation for joining CBS Students, his thoughts on student life, and his CBS Students essential. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗕𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀?  I've always enjoyed being involved as a student representative because it’s one of the best ways to actually make a difference. I was part of a student union in high school and have been a student representative, where I’ve seen how much impact a strong student voice can have. Joining the student union at university felt like a natural next step. My goal is to help create a union that truly serves students, whether that’s by addressing concerns, improving student life, or simply making sure everyone feels heard. It’s about making the student experience the best it can be. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗖𝗕𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀?  Honestly, just that we’re here! A lot of students don’t really know where to find us or what we do, but we’re always available if you have a concern, an idea, or just want to get involved. There are so many possibilities—whether it's improving student culture, tackling issues, or organizing events that bring people together, we want to hear from you. You don’t need to be part of the union to contribute, just reach out, and we’ll work together to make things happen! 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗰 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗼𝘁𝗲?  “You are analytical with data and curious about ambiguity”. I like this Nordic Nine quote since it highlights the balance between exploration and structure. It’s important to stay curious about ambiguity and approach it with a data-driven mindset. In CBS Students, we often deal with issues where there’s no clear answer, and being able to navigate uncertainty by researching, analysing and asking the right questions is key to making change happen. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗕𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹? My organised, clean desk in the office. When I work for CBS Students, this is the place where I always sit. I think a nice and tidy desk is the way to keep a good overview of what’s going on. It helps me stay on top of things, focus, and make sure I don’t forget important tasks.

  • 𝗖𝗕𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 This past weekend, CBS Students sent a delegation of seven representatives to the Political Conference (PK), which was hosted at DTU - Technical University of Denmark. The conference brings together student organizations from across Denmark to debate and shape the national student voice. Our Vice President, Mikkel Andreassen, led our delegation in discussions on key topics affecting higher education. The main debate in this PK focused on DSF’s financial policy paper, which outlines DSF’s stance on how financing to universities should be structured and how educational institutions in Denmark should be funded. The discussions covered incentive structures for government funding, the role of students in research and investment decisions, and historical models for distributing research funding. PK is not just about policy - it is also about compromise, collaboration and understanding different perspectives. It was an inspiring and educational experience for our delegation, and we look forward to the next PK in Aarhus. Thank you very much to our delegation members Anders Bilberg, Daniella Alexandra Balagul, Lucie Backen, Maria Zoladkowska, Rohail Akram Baig, Alexander M Dam who helped us prepare and represent CBS!
