We’re excited to announce Alexandra Hof as Regional Head of Service for Northern Central Europe (NCE) - a new role created to support our regional growth strategy. Alexandra brings over 18 years’ experience in renewable energy, power generation, and cross-functional leadership. Most recently, she was Senior Product Management Leader for Offshore Wind Services at GE Vernova, where she defined strategy, aligned stakeholders, and delivered technology roadmaps that drove commercial impact across Europe. At FairWind, she will lead all aspects of the NCE service business, including financial performance and the full portfolio of service and maintenance projects - with a clear focus on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and strategy. Alexandra added: “I’m honoured to join FairWind at such a defining moment for the industry. That’s why, each quarter, we proudly present our Value in Practice (VIP) Awards to recognise those who truly embody what we stand for. This quarter, we’re giving a special shout-out to Alfredo Silva Jr from our US team. Alfredo demonstrated exceptional courage, integrity, and accountability when he provided life-saving first aid to two members of the public involved in a serious road accident near one of our project sites. His quick thinking, calming presence, and expert application of first aid training helped stabilise a critically injured individual, earning praise from both emergency first responders and medical professionals. Alfredo’s actions are a true reflection of what FairWind stands for. Well done Alfredo, we are lucky to have you.

FairWind’s Main Component Exchange (MCE) team recently completed a complex main bearing replacement project in the United States, executed during the turbulent storm season. The work required full drivetrain disassembly, including removal of the blades and hub using dual-crane coordination. Despite the challenge of high winds and weather delays, the project was completed on schedule. This is a strong example of how FairWind’s MCE services extend a wind turbines lifespan, while supporting sustainable energy production. By replacing key components rather than entire turbines, we help reduce both costs and environmental impact - a win, win. Installation Commences in the UKIE! We’re excited to share a few early photos from one of our latest sites in Cumnock – part of a major installation project in our newly established UKIE region. Although we haven’t been here long, we’re already making solid progress. Our teams are currently focused on site preparation and receiving components – all to ensure we’re ready to hit the ground running and power on. Congratulations to René Damgaard, our UKIE Regional Director, who has been named Senior Project Manager of the Year 2024 by the IPMA: International Project Management Association (IPMA)! René received this prestigious recognition for achieving a high level of excellence in his recent Level B certification. Each year, the IPMA selects one outstanding candidate at each level for their Project Manager of the Year award. René was chosen as Senior Project Manager of the Year for Level B, in recognition of the exceptional skills, dedication, and professional development he demonstrated throughout the rigorous six-month certification process. The title is awarded only to those who achieve an exceptionally high score, as independently assessed by certification experts who closely monitor the candidate's performance from start to finish. The award was presented by IPMA Certification Manager, Allan Krüger-Jensen, during his visit to our headquarters in Vejle, Denmark. Well done, a well-deserved achievement 👏
