• En inglés los años se pueden leer de 2
formas:
• Leyendo el año como un número, es decir
el año 2009 se diría: two thousand and
nine.
• Leyendo el año dividiéndolo en 2 partes,
el año 1210 se puede leer: twelve ten.
• Esta segunda forma es más frecuente para
el intervalo de años [1020 - 1999].
Posiblemente para los años posteriores al
2020 se vuelva a utilizar este formato.

Date • La fecha en inglés británico sigue el mismo esquema que en español: • Día de la semana + día del mes + mes + año. • Presenta una diferencia en el día del mes, ya que se representa el número como ordinal (primero, segundo, tercero…).
