Winning the National AI Challenge 2025! It was all due to an opportunity created. A lot of people came together to create and provide this #opportunity for me and Neuramodal. An event to showcase what we could achieve, when we come together with a resolve, to address the pressing needs of the society. Thanks to TechIreland for the brilliant event, Enterprise Ireland's New Frontiers programme that helped the team come together. It was an amazing event and I learnt so much from the team at LaunchLoop. Thanks to Kevin Collins, Vishranth Chinnivakkam Vijayakumar, Daniel Smyth, Nikita Akella, Piush Vaish Special shout out to David Slowey, Martin Duffy, Kishore Goshikonda, Bill O'Dea, Michael J. Loftus for the mentorship and the craic after the event. Two weeks!!! 2 weeks to build prototypes and validate so many amazing ideas. I am excited to keep the traction going and look forward to continue working on more opportunities, by building tech at pace for our customers at Neuramodal! #EnterpriseIreland #Startups #NationalAIChallenge2025 #AIChallenge #TechIreland OpenAI Google InterTradeIreland Data2Sustain CeADAR Ireland

Congratulations to the LaunchLoop team, what an achievement! 🏆
Huge congratulations to the LaunchLoop team on winning first place at the National AI Challenge yesterday! The team — all participants in Enterprise Ireland's New Frontiers programme at IADT Media Cube/NovaUCD — includes: Kevin Collins → echofold.ai Alwin Stephen → neuramodal.com Daniel Smyth → tendr.ie Over a two-week sprint, they built GradGenie (gradgenie.net), a production-ready platform for grading Leaving Certificate exams. Powered by transformer-based OCR and a workflow of five AI agents, GradGenie reduces exam grading costs and turnaround times by 80%, helping eliminate delays that impact college placement schedules. The competition brought together 540 participants across nine hubs in Ireland. From 44 teams at the start, only 15 made it to the final showcase — and LaunchLoop came out on top. An incredible achievement for the team and a great example of Irish innovation in AI.

We kick started the programme in earnest yesterday with an offsite in the beautiful (but windy) Bundoran! This is designed as a “getting to know you” session “on speed”. (We will keep the finer details to ourselves!) We can safely say we have achieved that goal and more! Huge thanks to Maria Hall of Hub Planning who gave so freely of her time to speak to the group about her experience since she started the programme five years ago. Her honesty on the ups and downs of running her startup was so refreshing, and the advice she gave definitely served to focus the minds. 😊 CoLab North West ATU Sligo Innovation Centre WestBIC Local Enterprise Office Leitrim Local Enterprise Office Donegal Local Enterprise Office Sligo PEM Technology Gateway WiSAR Lab and Technology Gateway Advancing Innovation in Manufacturing (AIM) Centre

We kicked off New Frontiers at TU Dublin Phase 1 Evening Programme last night. Inspired once again, by Alan Carey 's business story. There is nothing quite like the learnings of an experience share from someone who has gone the journey to explain the undertaking and commitment required to launch a business. We also got to hear from our early stage entrepreneurs with a short elevator pitch on their business ideas. Lots of talent, skills and ambition within the group. Wishing the cohort the best on the programme over the next six weeks. We are accepting applications for our Phase 1 weekend programme in October.
