A highly engaged sellout CBC lunch crowd (175-plus) filled the Embassy Suites ballroom to hear from City and state transportation officials on the latest regarding the construction of a new Fourth Street bridge and Brent Spence Bridge companion bridge. The interest comes with good reason. The Fourth Street Bridge closing and demolition is set to start in mid-January for the span which sees between 11,000 and 17,000 vehicles per day cross. Brent Spence will see more active work adjacent to the proposed highway in the coming year in the form of utility work and storm water pipe stabilization.

Now, the Bilz Insurance building has been fully converted into Wenzel Whiskey’s new headquarters and distillery. Steve Tracy, At Work Personnel and Jennifer Sheffel, Summit Action Coach provided great actionable tips to solid networking as part of the latest CBC Roundtable at West 6th Brewery. Suggestions like *Setting goals for each networking event you attend (5 business cards, 1 appointment, for instance) *Examine your sales needs to determine how many networking events you attend. And great job Mandy Jenkins, Minuteman Press Southgate for creating attractive note-taking guide to list take-aways.
