    Another successful month and I am so proud of the Kula team as they continually & successfully win and poach new clients from the existing incumbents. Here's the thing, and the core reason we chose to invest Syelo Ventures, Kula is the *only* AI native ATS in the game with real traction and marketshare.     The most underrated art of recruiting is storytelling. When you have a great story, a great mission, recruiting talent becomes 10x easier. People want to believe in what they do, they want to feel that their work matters, they want to point to something their proud of and say, "I did that." Not every company is blessed with a great story. It's hard to sell the vision of tax software. But every company has the opportunity to paint a big picture. Every company has the potential to be more than what they are and it's a recruiters job to suss out the gems of that story. A great recruiter understands your vision, they understand the opportunity, and they create a narrative that inspires the best people to take that phone call just to hear the story. If it's good enough, they might just buy into it.

    Word on the street is that LinkedIn is actively suing a newish, but well-known, TA AI sourcing tool that scrapes LI data. Care to confirm or deny Sarah Wight? If my sources are right, this is a massive line in the sand and completely redraws the AI sourcing landscape. Historically, LinkedIn only really paid attention to you once you achieved true PMF and some elements of critical mass. If LI is putting the kabash on early stage startups in the space this quickly - they mean business.

    About 18 months ago my friend, advisor, investor, and early Syelo OG Srini Dandu introduced me to a guy building a wild product. The entrepreneur was a former recruiter (one of Ubers first global talent hire), and had this crazy concept of creating an ATS nobody seen before. The product was in production (not launched yet) but at high level he was merging multiple recruiting products/companies into one solidified platform, he coined the term "all-in-one ATS". To be honest, I was extremely skeptical and doubted the functionality/intelligence of the tool but told the founder to reach out when his product was done. 6 months ago the same founder reached out and demo'd me his product. Jaw on the floor, "holy shit" moment. His team had built the first AI native ATS which powered best in class products and features that no other existing competitor in the space could compete with. The legacy platforms were good-great but after the emergence of Open AI it was clear they were dinosaur technology. Kula had built something beautiful - a rare compliment in the B2B SaaS, recruiting tech ecosystem. At this moment I knew Syelo Ventures had to partner with Achuthanand Ravi, Arjun Ohri and Charlie Liang in whatever capacity capacity possible. So we put Kula in front of the Syelo community - same reaction, same excitement. So we voted on whether to invest and the results were overwhelming. Today I am extremely excited to announce our investment in Kula. Kula is the best recruiting tool we've ever seen in Syelo and the ability to partner and scale their vision of the future is an absolute honor.
