Thanks to the folks at Webcor for hosting us! The CFI (Center for Innovation) event restored my faith in the industry as a whole: it turns out people really do care about safe construction practices. Barry Nelson of FactorLab, Inc., Gabe Guetta of SALUS, and Douglas J. Rubingh of HammerTech gave us some insights: 1. Safety is cultural Mistakes appear in the nuanced spaces between worker engagement and planning conversations. 2. Stilted information sessions don't work When people are forced to memorize a list of practices, they zone out. Give people the tools to look for information when they need (and want) it. 3. Data can prevent injuries You can target specific issues-- only once you identify what your organization's issues are. Aggregate data, conversations, safety incidents, etc. PS: you can do this all out of the box with Fresco (YC F24)

3dWell said, Akhil. Safety is all about timing, context, and culture. Fresco was built for that exact reason — to surface critical info the moment it’s needed, not buried in a binder. Grateful to Webcor and the speakers for leading the charge.
