🧠 Released Today: The Knowledge Agent for Copilot Microsoft is about to unlock a whole new layer of intelligence in M365 Copilot and SharePoint — and it’s all about content clarity, automation, and freshness. 🗓️ Microsoft 365 Roadmap - Copilot in SharePoint is starting to shape. After the SharePoint Agents, Microsoft is rolling a new AI features based on the Microsoft 365 Copilot license in SharePoint Online. After the AI Section was created by AI on the SharePoint pages, AI Actions will be rolled out to SharePoint Document Libraries. 🔹Description We’re expanding AI capabilities to SharePoint document libraries in Microsoft 365 on the web. AI file actions—already available in OneDrive—will now be accessible in SharePoint, enabling users to summarize content, compare files, generate FAQs, ask questions, and create audio overviews directly from document libraries. AI file actions will be available to all users with a Copilot license in SharePoint document libraries on the web. These actions mirror those currently available in OneDrive and offer enhanced productivity by enabling users to interact with files using natural language prompts. This feature is on by default and does not require admin configuration. Sections with AI works by first looking at the context of your page to offer prompt suggestions for what content you need next to offer a starting point. Once you click generate, Sections with AI then leverages your sources, the knowledge and content already inside of your organization, and the content already on your page to create rich sections that go beyond just image and text. This could mean including information from meeting transcripts, recent documents, or any other knowledge Copilot has access to. Toggle between options in the header and choose your favorite! 🔹Release stages: Rolling out 🔹 References Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 1141949 Roadmap ID 488297 🔻 To stay updated with the latest developments in Microsoft 365, subscribe to the M365 & Copilot Weekly Digest: https://lnkd.in/duw7YwiM #sharepoint #copilot #microsoft365 #office365 #microsoft365copilot #copilotinsharepoint

Your SharePoint isn’t broken. But it’s not AI-ready either. If you’re a Knowledge Manager in an enterprise, you already know the pain: - SOPs scattered across disconnected sites - Duplicate documents with no clear source of truth - Search that returns everything—and nothing useful - Compliance risk from outdated content - KM tools that never got full adoption Altuent’s new AI-ready data for SharePoint service is built to fix that—without replacing what works. We unify your content layer across SharePoint, and other content repositories. We enrich metadata, automate governance, and make knowledge discoverable, compliant, and ready for Copilot agents. ✅ No rip-and-replace ✅ Fast deployment with minimal IT lift ✅ Built on your existing SharePoint repositories This is the foundation for AI that actually works in the enterprise. 📅 Join us on Sept 17 for a live session with Toni Ressaire and Helmut Nagy to see how SharePoint powered Copilot agents work in action. Wednesday Webinar—Help your Copilot agents understand your business language and surface insights from SharePoint. In this webinar, Helmut and I will talk about the challenges and impact of document chaos in SharePoint, and then we’ll show you an example of what happens when Copilot agents—empowered with your business terminology—find exactly what you’re looking for. But it’s so much more than better search. You can gain insights, surface critical processes, generate reports, and automate tasks that eat up your valuable time. We recently uncovered an automated use case that would allow a client to extract and submit compliance information scattered across a vast document repository. That’s just one use case. In the webinar we will talk about a few others, and we’re going to give you an ebook with 30 more use cases. We’ll show you how it works using a very simple show and tell: From a SharePoint blunder to a trusted response from a Copilot agent we built. The beauty of SharePoint—you’re already using it. Now get more value from it with Copilot agents. So, what’s in your SharePoint library?

Copilot Powered FAQ Web Part in SharePoint I have lost count of the number of list based FAQ sections we have created for SharePoint 'department' sites. Great to see Microsoft has introduced a new FAQ web part for SharePoint (in Public Preview) and powered by Copilot. It intelligently scans your existing documents (Word, PDF, PPT, Loop, even Teams transcripts) and generates suggested questions and answers. 💡 You stay in control: review, refine, categorise, and publish. Perfect for departments that experience significant Q&A traffic. A great way to: • Reduce internal support queries • Keep content consistent & discoverable • Deliver a smarter SharePoint intranet experience 👍 Only authors need a Copilot license ... viewers don’t! https://lnkd.in/e6BHrihA #Microsoft365 #SharePoint #Copilot #AI #IntelligentWorkplace #Valto #DigitalTransformation
