Background:

Challenge:
The factory faced high electricity demand and a strong reliance on a stable power supply to support continuous manufacturing operations. Load fluctuations during production hours resulted in costly peak demand charges, while the broader objective was to transition to a more efficient and sustainable energy model.
Solution:
To address these needs, POWEROAD delivered two units of FLEX 215 Air Cooling Outdoor ESS, with a capacity of 100kW / 430kWh, designed specifically for commercial and industrial applications.
The BESS charges during off-peak hours and discharges during peak demand periods, allowing the facility to avoid high time-of-use electricity tariffs. This peak shaving strategy significantly lowers monthly electricity bills and improves overall energy cost efficiency.
In an energy-intensive industrial environment, a stable power supply is critical. The BESS supports load balancing and acts as a buffer during sudden demand spikes, helping ensure uninterrupted production.
Designed with a modular and space-efficient architecture, the system required minimal onsite preparation and was quickly integrated into the existing electrical infrastructure. Its small footprint made it ideal for industrial settings with limited available space.
