- 4. Hard Drive The Hard Drive is what stores digital information and data from a computer. It’s coated with magnetic heads, allowing data to be written on them.
- 5. Heat Sink The Heat Sink is a component that cools hot air gathering inside the computer by blowing it out into surrounding air. It works almost like air conditioning does or refrigeration.
- 6. Graphics Card A graphics card is an output of images onto a display like a TV or desktop/screen. It has a GPU and works with the CPU to provide graphics for your system.
- 7. Motherboard The Motherboard is the most fundamental component ever. It’s a printed circuit board that allows you to connect everything together.
- 8. NIC The Network Interface Controller connects the computer to a network for internet access. They are very low in cost and have recently been built into motherboards due to this.
