ARDUINO BASED GAS LEAKAGE DETECTING ROBOT

- 3. • The gas leakage detection robot will detect the gas leakage and give indication by an alarm • The heart of the robot is Arduino uno board • Arduino is an open source electronic prototyping platform • The robot can driven remotely using an ask RF remote control • The ask RF remote control provides the advantage of a good controlling range • Also a gas detector is provided.

Remote section It aims at taking control input from switches and Transmit RF signals to control robot body Robo section This section basically aims at receiving robot Control inputs from remote and control robo wheel motors as per the programing done in Arduino. Section can again be classified as : •motor driving section
- 7. • It consist of Ht12e encoder,ask transmitter,switches,battery,and resistors • Encoder takes low inputs from switches • ‘TE’ pin is taken low to serially transmit data set on 8 address lines and 4 address/data lines • Duration of data transfer is determined by the resistor value in ‘osc1’ and ‘osc2’ pins
- 8. • Transmitter receives signal from Dout pin of encoder ic • Received signal is transmitted through antenna • Here we use 434Mhz Ask transmitter to transmit signal over the range of 100m
- 9. Encoder • 18-pin • Operating Voltage : 2.4V ~ 12V • Low Power and High Noise Immunity • Low Standby Current : 0.1uA (typ.) at VDD=5V • Minimum Transmission Word = 4 • Built-in Oscillator needs only 5% Resistor
- 11. • Ask receiver is used to receive signal from transmitter • It operates in frequency range of 434Mhz • Operating voltage is 5v • Ht12d decoder is used to receive data from the Ht12e on its din pin • The data outs from D8 to D11 of Ht12d are fed to pin 2 to 5 of arduino
