• Allocation of community working hours (from 16 to 40)

(e.g., a university, a retail outlets, a fast food organisation, a
manufacturer, a charitable organisation etc etc).
• On the basis of your PESTLE analysis, could you offer any guidance to
the managers of your chosen organisation.
Individual work
• You should have:
• One most important area for development (from last session) that the you
will include in you as an individual goal
• Brought a copy of SMART framework and SMART goal work sheets
•
• I will…
• Talk you through example goal work sheet
• Give you time to complete goal work sheet for your chosen goal
• Come around each table/ group and ask where are you up to with the goal
and planning
• Remind you that you need to finalise goal 1 planning and should start
collecting evidence for on a continuous basis from NOW to submission
• Remind that that goal 1 evidence will be reviewed on w.c 11 Nov. Aiming at
least 3 pieces of evidence per goal
• Clarify different sources of where they can collect evidence from
independent sources, i.e. tutors from various units with previous agreement,
PAT tutor, employer, supervisor
• Can get 1 piece of evidence from colleagues, peers, self)
