The Dashboard Do you ever get tired of opening and closing windows when switching from function to function to function? And all those clicks? To make this task easier for you, Garden State MLS has developed a new enhancement that allows you to access multiple functions all from one screen:  The Dashboard . Just as your car's dashboard keeps you apprised of many different aspects of its performance, similarly the New MLS Dashboard presents you with various functions to stay on top of your day-to-day real estate business. To access the Dashboard, click on the  Dashboard  link in the upper right corner of the Homepage:
The Dashboard Screen When you first open the Dashboard, it will look like this
The Dashboard Screen The Dashboard contains 8 sections: 1. Detailed Listing Information : Search by ML#, with multiple results. This section is what dashboards are all about: getting multiple results from a single inquiry. Enter an ML#, then click on the  SEARCH  button.  Search Result, Tax Result, Listing History Result , and  Property Archive Result  all will display: To run a new  Detailed Listing Information  search , click on the  Edit Criteria  link, enter a new  ML#,   then click on the  Search  button to the right.
The Dashboard Screen   2. ML# Search : Search by ML#, with Property Results page. Enter ML#/s, then click on the  SEARCH   button. The  Property Results  screen will display. To run a new  ML#  search , click on the  Edit Criteria  link, enter a new  ML#,  then click on the  SEARCH  button to the right. 3. Quick Search : works like the standard Quick Search. (You can also have the system  Remember Search Parameter Value , either  For this Session, Always , or  Never .) Select  Property Type , then click on  SEARCH.  The  Quick Search  screen will display. Enter your parameters, then click on  SEARCH.  The  Property Results  screen will display. . To run a new  Quick Search , click on the  Edit Criteria  link, enter new parameters ,  then click on the  SEARCH  button to the right.     4. Saved Search : Has drop-down list of all your Saved Searches. Select a Saved Search, then click on  SEARCH.  The  Property Results  screen will display.  To run a new Saved Search , select a new search from the dropdown box, then click on the  SEARCH  button to the right.
The Dashboard Screen   5. Listing History : works like the standard Listing History Search. Enter the ML#, then click on  SEARCH . The  Listing History Results  screen will display : To run a new  Listing History  search , click on the  Edit Criteria  link, enter a new  ML#,  then click on the  SEARCH  button to the right. 6. Property Archive Search : works like the standard  Property Archive Search . Enter the ML#, then click on  SEARCH . The  Property Archive Results  screen will display. . To run a new Property Archive Search , click on the  Edit Criteria  link, enter new parameters,  then click on the  SEARCH  button to the right.    7. My Inventory (A, UC, US) : Click on the  DISPLAY  button, and your current  Active, Under Contract , and  Under Contract Continue to Show  inventory will display. 8. My Standard Hotsheet : When you first enter the Dashboard, the  My Standard Hotsheet  results will display  automatically , based on the parameters you had set for it. If some time goes by and you would like to see updated results, click on the  REFRESH  button. If you would like to update the timestamp, click on the  Update Timestamp To:….  link. Also, upon exiting the Dashboard, you will be asked if you would like to update the timestamp.
The Dashboard Screen   You may refresh individual sections by clicking on the REFRESH button within that section. You may also refresh the entire Dashboard page by clicking on the REFRESH button in the top right corner of the page.   You may minimize and maximize individual sections by clicking on the min/max icon to the left of each section heading  . You may minimize and maximize all sections by clicking on the min/max icon to the left of the page title,    To close the Dashboard, click on the CLOSE button in the upper right of the screen.   Finally, note the message at the top of the Dashboard screen:   You may keep your Dashboard available while you work in other areas . If your browser uses tabs, Dashboard and Main MLS will be in separate tabs, and you may just switch back and forth. If the Dashboard opens in a new window, you may minimize the Dashboard when not using it, then maximize it again when using it.  Note: you will be logged off the Dashboard if there is no activity for two hours.
