Memory population rules
DIMMs should be populated starting from the A1 slot up to the A16 slot (for two DIMM per channel
systems.) For two CPU socket systems, the second CPU is populated mirroring the first socket and slots
are labeled from B1 up to B16.
No mixing DIMM capacities.
Minimum Recommend 4 DIMMs per CPU.
Maximum Performance 8 DIMMs per CPU.
