The school performed strongly in phonics and KS1 assessments, with percentages above national averages in reading, writing, and maths. At KS2, the school significantly outperformed national averages in maths and reading attainment, and was in the top percentiles for maths, reading, and disadvantaged progress. The main area for improvement was writing progress for high prior attainers and attainment of high prior attainers in writing and combined subjects. Overall targets included raising progress for more able writers, achieving 85% combined attainment in each year, and developing standardized progress monitoring across the school.
