It is an ideal extension for customers which allows them to select the date and time on which they want to receive delivery of product. Admin can disable week off days and time slot which won’t allow customers to choose those days and time for delivery. Pre-requisites Following points must be followed before starting the plug-in installation: • You should login as an Admin in Odoo. • Check that your Odoo Instance is compatible for Delivery Date Scheduler. • An e-commerce module should be present in your instance to use this app.

Step 2: Check your Odoo add-ons path. • It should be same as defined in Odoo Config file. • Config files are mostly saved in /etc folder. For e.g. /etc/odoo.conf • Open Config file: ▪ Give the command: sudo/etc/odoo.conf ▪ Config file content: addons_path = /opt/odoo/addons Step 3: Open Terminal and go to download location • For e.g. if the download location path is: /home/odoo/Downloads then the command to be written in the terminal would be: cd/home/odoo/Downloads Step 4: Copy download modules to addons path • Give the below mentioned commands to perform copy operation: ▪ $cd /home/odoo/Downloads/website_customer_order_delivery_date ▪ $cd v8 ▪ $sudo cp delivery_date_scheduler /opt/odoo/addons Step 5: Restart Odoo server Step 6: Login with the admin credentials in your odoo instance. Step 7: Go to Settings/Update Module List. • Click on “Update” button.

Delivery Date Scheduler module will be added. • Check the ‘Disable Delivery Comment Feature’ checkbox to disable the delivery date scheduler. • Select the view in which you would like to display the Delivery Schedule. For e.g. Calendar view or Timeslot view.

USER MANUAL – Delivery Date Scheduler www.appjetty.com 6 • You can make Delivery date mandatory if you set the checkbox against ‘Make Delivery Date Mandatory’. • Write the “Delivery Date Label” and “Delivery Comment Label” of your choice to be displayed on the front end. • Choose the appropriate ‘Date Format’ from the dropdown list. • Choose the desired ‘Time Format’ from the dropdown list.
- 8. USER MANUAL – Delivery Date Scheduler www.appjetty.com 7 • Set the value of checkbox as true to enable the time in calendar. • User can set the ‘Minimum Interval of days’ between orders placed and scheduled delivery date.

Proceed with the ‘Day Off Settings’. • Day off Setting: User can select single or multiple days from the dropdown list. • Single Day off: Suppose you want to disable particular dates for delivery. This can be done by choosing the dates from the calendar here. • Period off: If there is a case to disable delivery dates for a particular period of time then you can select the start and end date from the calendar here. It is also possible to add multiple periods. • You can delete disabled settings using the icon provided at the end of the row. Note: In case, the time format is changed from AM/PM to 24 hours and vice-versa, then the “Day off Settings” needs to be configured again.

USER MANUAL – Delivery Date Scheduler www.appjetty.com 9 Timeslot settings • If the user has selected ‘24 Hour’ time format, then the settings will be displayed as shown in the image below. • You can set the no. of delivery days and minimum interval in hours. • For ‘24 Hour’ time format, you need to select the start time and end time from the dropdown list. • Add the time slots you would like to display at the front end. It is also possible to delete the timeslots using the delete icon provided at the end of the row.

The minor change is you have to select ‘AM/PM’ from the dropdown along with time.

USER MANUAL – Delivery Date Scheduler www.appjetty.com 12 Delivery details in Quotation view • Admin can view the delivery date, time and comments if any with the order details. • A new tab for Customer Order Delivery date and time will be added. • You can view this from Sales -> Quotations. Click on any order to view the details. • If the customer has not posted any comment while placing order then it will show “No Comment”.
