- 2. Installing Commerce Server 2007 1. Click on Microsoft Commerce server 2007 to start installation. 2

Installation Requirements for Commerce Server 2009 on Server 2008 R2 If you try to install CS 2009 you may get the following error, .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 not installed, even if Framework 3.5 is installed in your system. To overcome this, you have to install KB975567. It is recommended to uninstall this after your Commerce Server 2009 installation. 15
- 16. 1. Installing KB975567, click next to install this update 16
- 17. 2. Agree the licence terms and click next 17
- 18. 3. Software updated successfully, click finish to close this wizard. 18
- 19. Installing Commerce Server 2009 1. Insert CS2009 disk, the following screen will appear, click Next to start installation. 19
- 20. 2. Accept the license terms and click next 20
- 21. 3. Installation started, wait for next screen. 21
- 22. 4. Click Next to start commerce server configuration wizard. 22
- 23. 5. Enter your SQL server credentials and test the connection, then click Next. 23
- 24. 6. Enter staging service credentials and click Next. (This window may not displayed if Staging option not selected while installing CS2007, refer 4th step of Commerce Server 2007 installation). 24
- 25. 7. Enter Direct Mailer credentials and click Next. (This window may not displayed if Direct mailer option not selected while installing CS2007, refer 5th step of Commerce Server 2007 installation). 25

- 43. Configuring Commerce Server Contemporary Site for SharePoint 2010 1. Run SharePointCommerceServicesConfiguration.exe, SP2010 administrator service may not be running. Steps given below to start this service. a. Start -> run and type “services.msc” and press enter key (services window opens). b. Start “Window SharePoint Service Administration” service (if it is already started, restart it once again) 43
- 44. 2. Proceed to CS services wizard if no errors, click next 44
- 45. 3. Choose the CS contemporary site and web parts option to install site. 45
- 46. 4. Choose / create the web application for this contemporary site. For creating new site, click on New button, 46
- 47. 5. Type the site descriptions for private and public (Extended) sites with port numbers. Choose existing Application pool or create new application pool this site. Click Next to continue creating new site. 47
- 48. 6. Wait for completing new site creation. 48
- 49. 7. Once new site created in previous step, the following window will appear. If you are installing new Commerce Server site, then type CS site, otherwise uncheck Create Commerce Site and choose the Commerce Server site form the dropdown. Enter the Database Server name and click Next. 49
- 50. 8. Click Next to install Commerce server site. 50
- 51. 9. Creating new site, this may take longer time (over 2 min). Wait for final screen. 51
- 52. 10. Commerce server site is successfully deployed. Click on View Site to open site on your favourite browser and click Finish to close this window. 52
- 53. 11. No products displayed because we haven’t configured Channel and Catalog. This can be configured in Site Actions >> All Site Content >> Channel Configuration. This is visible only on private site. 53
- 54. 12. Enter the Channel and Default Catalog as shown below. Then click Home to open default page. 54
