THE PLAN
• In order to tackle the challenges of the 21st century, we must prepare the next generation for their global reality. The
world’s hardworking teachers and professors often lack adequate time, resources and support to prepare our youth
for an increasingly globalized society while still meeting important curricula standards. CFNEP use the power of
online community to facilitate global education, social entrepreneurship , and civic engagement for millions of
    youth worldwide .
• The CFNEP program is a unique 3-semester global leadership and professional development opportunity for
university students transforming them into 21st century leaders through innovative trainings that build
responsible, global citizenship and empower students with critical life-skills needed for careers in today’s
    increasingly globalized world.
• CFNEP Hubs engage students in service-learning by empowering them as facilitators of a global education curriculum
in local middle/high school classrooms that are linked with partner classrooms in another country.
• CFNEP university student Project Ambassadors establishes collaborative working relationships with university peers
abroad in order to guide their mentee middle/high school youth in effective, cross-cultural/Idea exchange.
• CFNEP Project links middle and high school, universities, mono/polytechnics and colleges of education classrooms
with partner-classrooms abroad. Trained university and colleges of education student mentors facilitates the
exchange ensuring high quality partnerships as well as youth-to-youth mentorship opportunities. Through a unique
curriculum that encourages collaborative learning, CFNEP create global communities while strengthening local
communities. The CFNEP program is offered free of charge but participating youth must get registered on the C:F
website and retrieve a unique identification number to have access to the CFNEP hub (IMPORTANT CRITERIA FOR
    EVERYONE).
• CFNEP approaches the program execution from three sides:
• (1) CFNEP partners with organizations, company, universities and colleges to:
• Establish an innovative service-learning program that empowers university students as STEAM (Science+
Technology+ Engineering+ Arts+Mathematics) Innovation facilitators in local, public middle and high school
classrooms, and linking campuses across the world to a network of engaged universities, allowing for student
facilitators to work together across borders as advocates for their classrooms.
• (2) CFNEP provides middle, high school, colleges of education, and universities with:
• A global education curricula program that builds critical thinking, problem-solving, and awareness of shared global
and local challenges in STEAM field. CFNEP engage a team of trained university student facilitators to lead global
learning and STEAM competency curriculum once a week and a cross exchange opportunity with partner classrooms
    abroad.
• (3) Exceptional students from the program are listed in the C:F YOUNG INNOVATORS Hall of Fame and subsequently
given the C:F Prestigious INNOVATORS BADGE.
HOW CFNEP WORKS...

“By empowering universities as leaders in enhancing the education of secondary school youth, we prepare
university students for future professional opportunities. CFNEP connects schools to transform students into
empowered, discerning and empathetic global citizens.”

                                                                                    MICHAEL IYANRO EXPLAINING
THE VISION & MISSION OF C:F
                                                                                    AND THE GOALS OF CFNEP
                                                                                    PROJECT TO THE AUDIENCE
                                                                                    DURING THE PROJECT LAUNCH.

BELOW ARE THE CROSS-SECTION OF CFNEP LAUNCHING ATTENDEE IN ABEOKUTA, OGUN STATE NIGERIA

RESULTS OF PROGRAM LAUNCH
The program launch was carried out in partnership with NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE CORPS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICE
UNIT OGUN STATE CHAPTER NIGERIA of which I MICHAEL IYANRO was the PRESIDENT. 764 YOUTHS participated in the launching.
In less than 5 weeks, CFNEP has brought the world to 15 under- resourced middle and high school classrooms in Ogun State
Nigeria making it possible for young people to learn about and communicate with other parts of the globe without having to
physically leave their school. CFNEP is presently working to connect 20 schools in 6 West-African countries, 3 in Slovenia, 3 in the
Middle-East and 3 USA states, in order to impact the lives of thousands of young people. CFNEP will design and implement over 40
service learning projects in the coming year. By 2015, our goal is to engage over 200 universities, polytechnic, colleges of
education, and middle/high school classrooms around the world.

“ I am fascinated by the role that interdisciplinary, cross-sector approaches can play in solving our most difficult
problems in all ramifications. This is connected to the notion that we can expedite the innovation cycle through
partnerships across all sector. Exporting this approach can also have powerful implications for Youths in creating
a new platform to promote the power and excitements in innovation. Incidentally, I created this program as an
exemplar of a vanguard program that promotes the type of unique connections that have the potential to bring
about tremendous change for good in the world and for Challenge:Future.
Furthermore, I created this program as a networking channel for viable partnership with youths from other parts
of the world and the Challenge:Future team to facilitate a creative partnership design process to transform ideas
into businesses. I created this project in order to work with multiple partner organizations across the
Challenge:Future network to ideate, build and test real innovative solutions with real market value. My overall
objective is to be able to expose a younger generation to the community of thinkers and doers in the innovation
sector with the added dimension of assembling interdisciplinary teams around a shared cause and ultimately
building a generation of World Re-builders. “-Michael Iyanro
