The document presents a Two-Hop Based Traffic Aware Congestion Control Algorithm (TTACCA) for wireless sensor networks that aims to alleviate congestion and improve quality of service metrics such as throughput, latency, and energy efficiency. The algorithm utilizes two independent potential fields, depth and queue length, to dynamically route data packets around congested areas while optimizing resource utilization. Simulation results demonstrate that TTACCA outperforms existing congestion control methods by effectively reducing energy consumption and increasing throughput.
