SQL Server allows for the manipulation of data in tables through features like data regions, lists, charts, and sub-reports. Report parameters allow values to be passed into queries to filter data and alter report appearance. Parameters can be defined and prompts used to specify available values and defaults. Query and report parameters can be linked, though renamed query parameters do not automatically update the report parameter. Data-bound parameters display available values from a query to allow dynamic changing based on the database.
