- 1. Digital Projectors Erika Mazzuca
- 2. What is it? A digital Projector is when digital images are projected on a projection screen, large monitor or whiteboard so larger groups can see. Images can come from digital cameras, video cameras, video tape or even from a smart board(active board).
- 3. Why use digital projections? With schools becoming more technology advanced, teachers are becoming more familiar using technology. Digital projection in a classroom will help the students advance with hands on learning. Using an active board, student can go and touch the board and have a tactile learning experience rather than information coming from a book. The software and hardware are still being advanced to this day. This will also give students to interact with each other.
- 4. Types of projectors. Overhead Projectors - Features: - Versatile and inexpensive -Displays commercial or teacher-made transparencies against a screen, classroom wall, or whiteboard. -Displays a specific object or transparencies.

- 7. In a classroom Using technology in the classroom is going to be a big part of my classroom. I will use the projectors for as many areas as I can. Like Math, Science, English and history. I think using projections in a classroom with special needs students will be very helpful with the tactile, kinesthetic and visual learners. Showing videos and showing activities the students can do. Also posting assignments and daily goals up on a screen.
