This study investigates the need for developing portable web server kits for teaching and learning, highlighting the challenges faced due to inadequate hardware and software in the current educational landscape. A survey of 98 students revealed a lack of knowledge and experience with portable web servers, although the majority expressed a positive perception and readiness to utilize such resources to enhance web development learning. The findings suggest that creating portable web server kits could significantly benefit both educators and students in the web development process.
