This paper investigates the performance of four channel estimation techniques for MIMO-OFDM systems using MATLAB simulations: Super Imposed Pilot (SIP), Comb-Type, Space-Time Block Coding (STBC), and Space-Frequency Block Coding (SFBC). Results show that Comb-Type and SIP outperform STBC and SFBC in terms of Bit-Error Rate (BER) and Mean Square Error (MSE) at higher Signal-to-Noise Ratios (SNR). The study emphasizes the advantages of MIMO-OFDM systems, including increased data throughput and improved reliability without additional bandwidth or transmit power.
