The document presents a novel quasi orthogonal space time block code (QOSTBC) structure for implementing 8x8 MIMO-OFDM systems, analyzing the performance under various fading channels. It employs zero-forcing equalization and demonstrates improvements in bit error rate (BER) and spectral efficiency compared to other configurations, particularly highlighting the advantages of increased antenna diversity. The findings suggest that increasing the number of transmitters and receivers leads to better performance, with the proposed system achieving a significant SNR gain of 3-5 dB.
