The document presents a new pilot design method for Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) based Cognitive Radio (CR) systems utilizing Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) to enhance wireless transmission reliability and efficiency. The proposed system addresses challenges such as pilot tone selection for channel estimation in cognitive radio environments, achieving significant performance improvements over traditional approaches through optimization techniques. Simulation results demonstrate that the new method optimally utilizes activated subcarriers to maximize system capacity and minimize bit error rates.
