Jalal Uddin Ahammad created a chess game animation using Blender for their project at Politecnico Di Milano. They modeled individual chess pieces and boards using mesh objects and applied materials and textures. Animation was done by setting the location and rotation of pieces over 50 frames to simulate gameplay. Rendering was applied to produce a quick time video of the animated chess moves. The project demonstrated techniques for 3D modeling and animation that could be expanded into a full chess game.
