This document summarizes a virtual professional conference held within a graduate-level course with 12 students. The conference utilized various online tools like WebCT Vista, discussion groups, and chats to allow students to present posters, participate in roundtables, and give a keynote presentation, as they would at a real professional conference. Students engaged with each other and occasional visitors throughout the multi-hour conference. Feedback was provided and the experience was deemed a great success by its enthusiastic reception and strong participation numbers.
