To add a discussion forum to a NHS network, go to the network page and select "Add Forum" from the toolbox. Name and describe the new forum. Posts can then be started by clicking "Start a new conversation" on the forum page and adding a title and body text. The visibility of the new forum can be set by selecting hide or show options in the viewing control toolbox.

- 1. How to add discussion forums to your network
- 2. To start • Go to www.networks.nhs.uk • Log in • Click on Your menu, click on Your networks • Click on the name of your network
- 3. • Go to the Toolbox and select Add • Select Forum • Click Add Forum • If you haven’t created a discussion forum the website will first create a message board for you.
- 4. • Add title and description • Please leave the box for Allow users to edit their comments and Show Captcha unticked. • Save
- 5. • Go to messageboard and you will see the forum.
- 6. • Click Start a new conversation • Add title and comment in the body text box • Post your comment
- 7. Publishing your forum • Go to Toolbox and select Viewing control • Click hide/show forum • Select preferred option
