Exercise
• Think about one word that expresses what you’d like to ‘create’ with your song:
e.g. “Adventure”
* Write 5 adjectives and 5 nouns that are related to the topic:
adjectives nouns
daring challenge
exciting experience
breathtaking journey
fascinating romance
audacious thrill
* Think about each combination for a minute. They evoke some interesting
possibilities. Take any combination and try to write a sentence or short paragraph
from it.
* Use even or odd number of lines in a verse/chorus to create a desired effect -
open or close ended motion.
