To clear your password history in Internet Explorer, open the Internet Options window by clicking Tools then Internet Options, go to the Content tab and click Settings to open the AutoComplete window, check only Address Bar and Favorites and uncheck other fields, then click Delete AutoComplete History. A new window will open where you check every box except Preserve Favorites website data and click Delete to remove your browsing history and prevent saved passwords from autofilling.

- 2. With Internet Explorer open, click on the TOOLS tab. At the bottom, you will see INTERNET OPTIONS. Click on INTERNET OPTIONS. A new window will open.
- 3. In the INTERNET OPTIONS window, click on the content tab. Then click on the first SETTINGS button. After you click on the SETTINGS button, the AUTOCOMPLETE window will open. In the AUTOCOMPLETE window, Check only the ADDRESS BAR and FAVORITES. Make sure the others are blank. Then click on the DELETE AUTOCOMPLETE HISTORY button.
- 4. After you click on the DELETE AUTOCOMPLETE HISTORY button a new window opens. Check every box EXCEPT the top one, “Preserve Favorites website data.” Next, you need to click the DELETE button. A new window will open and show that your history is being deleted. After the history is deleted, close any windows that remain open, restart Internet Explorer. It should not remember your passwords any more.
