 Rohit (fictitious name), an engineering student
want to do a startup and help the poor. But the
funding authorities are not showing much
interest. He has to overcome this issue.
 Testing on solution 1 -Ask the poor people to
unite up for their benefit. Collection of small
money from everyone for the community
benefit.
 I discussed the ideas of the solution and tried it with
the people around.
 We reached to some of little educated people and
tried to explain them the situation.
 A small committee was set with the help of
participating people.
 These people will be taking care of the regular
collection of money and will take care of the
accounts.
 We thought, since the fund raiser will be from their
own community, it will be beneficial for them.
 A collection box was kept at the cross roads around
so that people could drop in the money as and when
they feel.
 A campaign was started to go around every house
and make them aware.
 This idea was a complete failure due to the
following reasons.
 People were feeling unsecure to deposited
money even with their peers as they thought it
was an unsecure way.
 Orthodox thinking of people was quite a
hurdle. They were not much interested in
engineering changes.
 People were not showing much interest in
sharing the same product. They wanted on
each for themselves.
 The collection box was found missing the very
next day.
 Even, many of them were not in a position to
donate even a single buck.
 A legal bank establishment is required if a
secure way of money deposition is required.
 We require more people to help us as three of
us were quite insufficient to reach the masses.
 A rigorous awareness campaign is required to
raise the people mentality and psychology.
 Proper collection units, with security services is
required
 Testing on Solution 2- Seek emergency
assistance. Like, be a part of red cross society.
Earn money, do the startup.
 As my friend and I were a member of the national
red cross society, we volunteered few of the ongoing
program.
 We went around the city for blood collection camps.
 In all, we volunteered at two places in the city.
 The job required collecting people from the
city, taking the collected plasma to the blood banks.
 We also helped a person who met an accident to
reach the hospital.
 Although these jobs were quite appreciated by
the people around, but the collection was quite
small in this.
 The collection was quite insufficient to do the
startup.
 Since these services are made for volunteering
help, not much profit is associated with this.
 The poor can themselves associate with such
society and work of a single day in the week so
that the collected money can be used for their
help.
 The best suggestion is, drop down this plan
and look for some other idea.
