 As per the PAN-India data most of the exchanges / BMs are working
with only 30% to 40% loading.
 In present Scenario the working ports of LCC Cards are distributed in
a random fashion.

 We need to shift Terminal equipments in such a manner, so that
the working subscriber should be moved to Base Module rack and
then Line Module-01 and Line Module-02 rack.
 In this manner subscribers are organized properly among the
various racks.

 The uplink connectivity is through 1GigE Optical patch cord.
 The length of patch cord for the above connectivity.
 The type of connectorization at ADM end of RPR i.e. FC or LC or SC
so that the patch cord can be supplied accordingly.

 One BM Cabinet at MBM location will be use as MAX-NG BM
 MAX-NG BM will house CACU (Central Access Control Unit) system to
install common elements for that MBM i.e.
Main Aggregation Switch (1+1)
Network Access Gateway Card (1+1)
Ethernet-to-E1 Bridge Main (1+1)
Shelf Manager Card (1+1)

 All the E1s for the Network i.e. POI PCMs, V5.2 AN-RAXs and PRI-
PBX are required to re-route to MAX-NG BM.
 One Card Frame of MAX-NG BM has a provision of DDF to
terminate all the above mentioned E1s.

Planning at Line BM / RSU Site
 At Co-located Line BM / RBM site, new LAGU (Line Access Gateway
Unit) system will be installed in place of bottom two Card frame of
Base Module.
 LAGU system house only 02 nos of NGTJ-LAG Card and 02 nos of TSI
card.
 CAT-5e LAN cable for Co-located Line BM or existing E1 Cables in
case of RSU are directly terminated on the backplane of LAGU system.

Suggestion
Few Suggestion / Maintenance after MAX-NG:
 IPM should be connected at MDF for Lightning Protection
 High Voltage Protection (HVP) module developed by C-DOT to be installed
in the exchange at Heavy Lightning Prone Area
 Proper checking of Earthing of exchange.
 Proper training of MAX-NG maintenance staff.
 Proper maintenance of Power plant, Generator and battery back-up
arrangement.
