 Did we have an explicit strategy?
 We never wrote one down but we had a clear vision in mind
 Conviction (collaboration is essential)
 Determination (doggedness of the leaders)
 Identification of Use Cases
 Adoption needs time, competencies develop slowly (you cannot force it)
 Bottom-up approach might be OK for small groups but not for multinational corporations!
 There are many competing collaboration products, having an integrated platform is a success factor
(especially at the start)
 The more intense the usage, the greater the perceived benefit for the users
( benefits tree)
 Outlook: Domino V10 will help us develop cool applications that make the collaboration platform
even better (integration of IoT data, automation of workflows, analytics, tailored solutions that
make us more competitive)
Coming back to our journey - what are the key learnings?
I am very much looking forward to the journey that still lies ahead…
… it is fun to walk the IBM Connections/Domino way!

  • 17. I am very much looking forward to the journey that still lies ahead… … it is fun to walk the IBM Connections/Domino way!
