- 4. Once Virtual box is open: Click on ‘New’.
- 5. When Prompted enter the Name of the new virtual machine as : ‘slackware’. Set the type as : ‘Linux’. Set the Version as ‘Other Linux(32-bit)’. Click next.
- 6. Set the allocated RAM to 1024 MB. Click Next.
- 7. Click ‘Create a Virtual Hard Disk Now’.
- 8. Select VDI (VirtualBox Disk Image) and click next
- 9. Select ‘Dynamically Allocated’. Click Next.
- 10. Set the hard drive to 25 GB’s, and then click create.
- 11. Once you have clicked Create you will see the following Virtual machine appear in your VirtualBox manager:
- 12. Open the box’s settings. Go to system and change the Pointing Device to PS / 2
- 13. Go to Processor, and enable PAE / NX
- 14. Disable Audio
- 15. Go to Network and change the ‘Attached to’ setting to ‘Host-only Adapter’
- 17. Completed! • The Slackware box’s settings are now configured.
