our app.
2. Working on a speed because if the app will store so
much data then there is possibility of slowing it down
and even glitch it and stop working.

and now we are thinking about adding more filter

feature of our app as it is a unique

On the left is another app of Petopia with
its best feature (Encyclopedia is on
every app of Petopia) and that feature is
“Your/My Animal”. My animal is a page
that can store animals and add the
names for the animals. If user have an
animal but doesn’t want to keep
searching for ir then he could add the
animal to YOur animal page, it will be
much easier to find informations on the
page instead of going on encyclopaedia
and try to find the pet again which could
take few minutes because of a library

- 2. ● ● This app is for every animal lover that would like to know more about their favourite animal. ● Petopia is an app that will have information about home pets for the user with customisable features to make it different from similar apps. ● Probably this year if everything will go well. ● Everywhere, in app store and maybe IOS if app will become famous. ● There aren’t many Pet-Pedia apps that have informations about home pets, so we decided to make one. - 3. People need some place to store all the information about their pets which can easily be accessed by family members or pet sitters. Plus if any body wants information about animals , like fact files, feeding times etc, they need to search the web or look in books. Situation
- 4. The questions we are addressing in this app are how can you store important pet information, like medication times and feeding times, in an easily accessible place and how to get this information to the people who will be looking after your pet. Core Question

People can make time tables to give to pet sitters but this is a lot of fuss as it requires it to be written every time on paper or printed off the computer, our app aims to make this far easier as it only needs to be created once then it can be shared by the click of a button to any family member or pet sitter, to be accessed whenever they want. This also means the pet sitter can't accidentally lose the information and can always know when to medicate, feed or walk the pet. Key Insights
- 6. Mini Elevator Pitch Our team, Petopia, is developing a mobile app to help pet owners look after their animals better and learn more about them with the ability to create and share timetables that can be customised depending on the user’s preferences

During our scoping section, we learned a lot about our users that can help us identify the features that they wanted in the app and whether they liked the current ones or how they could be improved. We discovered that they would like to be able to access websites via the app in order to buy food and accessories for their pet which we have now incorporated into our app. Some of the current features of Petopia have been slightly improved to suit the users needs for example, the timetable will be linked up to a database to it can store and remember the data they have entered for the activity and time. As far as we are aware, there are no apps in the market at the moment that do what ours does, and the only other method would be writing out a timetable by hand or manually making one on a computer and emailing it to whoever is looking after your pet. Our app will be better as it will mean less paper will have to be used, and it will be far quicker to just write out the data and time table once and be able to just share it to the pet sitter with a click of a button. - 9. Minimum viable product, user stories and feature chosen The core of our app will be the the timetable function, which should allow users to create timetables on how to look after their pets. To do this we will need a database which will be able to save the data entered by us and the users. This is critical to our app as without it it is just a pet encyclopedia with a map. The timetable should allow the user to customise times, things to do and allow sounds to be played when specific times are reached, for instance, a cat meow sound playing when it is feeding time. The users we have spoken to, all pet owners or people whom have looked after pets, have said that the idea of a having a simple timetable to hand is a good idea and many have said they find it hard to remember specific times to medicate their pets.

- 12. This is a wireframe of the main menu of our app Petopia. It shows the navigational buttons and a graphic image of our logo in the middle. The buttons will all link effectively to the different pages of our app and there will also be back arrows at the top left when you open another page to allow the user to backtrack. The menu also shows a settings button which will lead to a page with will allow the user to change settings like privacy (whether or not to share pictures on Facebook or twitter).

Feasibility Data, content, technical Our app has both technical and simple features that will come together to satisfy the user requirements of the product. ● Technical feature: A working timetable that is linked to specific times incorporating notifications and sounds ● Simple feature: Database for the user’s information to be saved into or storing the information on different animals.
- 15. Business Case & Customer pledges We have chosen free to download model with small adverts and increasing few features if the user will pay a small amount of money. There might few customers that will be willing to pay but first of all this app is for people who would like to know more about their favourite home pet or the that they would like to buy.
- 16. Marketing Strategy First we will analyse the market just to be 100% sure that nobody else thought of our idea and was faster than our group. One of the marketing strategy could be a free website that will help our app to be heard. Also our team could make a facebook page for our app and show some screenshots and make regular posts. Our app is going to be a free app that will have limited features and small adverts that are relevant to the user E.g. Offers at pet stores or other products that are animal related. There will also be a premium version that removes the app-wide adverts and instead, get a new section highlighting special offers that are specific to the user’s pets. E.g. Users with dogs will have offers on food, toys, grooming etc.
