- 1. 2014 Media II, III & IV Journalism Underclassmen Final Exam Part I: Photoshop Tutorials Part II: Create Your Own Project & Refection It’s time to demonstrate what you’ve learned and to showcase it via a creative project. Keep in mind the following goals: Complete Photoshop tutorials to help you create your project. Reflect on what you’ve learned about writing, layout, design and photography in journalism. Use your skills to create a new product and demonstrate your knowledge of journalism skills Part I: Photoshop Tutorials Complete the correct level of Photoshop tutorials: basic or advanced. Consult the individual assignment sheet to determine your level. All Photoshop tutorials are due by Friday, May, 16. These tutorials will provide and reinforce the skills you need to complete the project. Part II: Design Items for 2014-2015 News Magazine You will create two masthead designs, covers, or special features background that showcases your writing and design abilities. You may create a project not listed but all projects must be “preapproved” by Mrs. Sitler. Benchmarks: 1. Preapproved topic a. Due by Friday, May 9 2. Rough draft sketch of project a.
