- 8. Newsela.com Non-fiction articles that are arranged by Lexile level. Teachers can choose a relevant article and then customize by level of text complexity in order to fit the students needs. This allows students to access information independently, but teachers can still teach with rigor by supporting the higher leveled text.
- 9. Goodnotes This app provides teachers with the ability to discuss and annotate text in real time. The file can then be exported and shared with students to provide deeper support.
- 10. Educreations An application for “flipping” your classroom. Teachers can record lessons to be shared online, whole class, small group or independently. Students can create presentations to be shared to support CCR standards.
- 11. iDownloader This application will allow you to download clips from the Internet to be played back without the need of wi-fi. The app stores the clip to be played back. This works out well when there may be issues streaming movies, or when working in small groups (i.e.jigsaw activity).
