OPNFV is an open source project that aims to accelerate NFV innovation by integrating NFV components and creating an automated testing platform. The Open Platform for NFV (OPNFV) released its first platform called "Arno" in June 2014. Arno integrated OpenStack, OpenDaylight and other open source components to provide a carrier-grade NFV development and testing environment. OPNFV continues to improve integration, deploy new releases across its bare metal labs, and collaborate with upstream NFV projects.
