- 6. Well that’s probably because you DO have to be all those people In a small business you have to fill multiple roles
- 7. The problem is you’ve probably never been trained to perform multiple roles
- 8. If you are like most business owners you will have training and skills relating to the core technical activities of your business
- 9. But you’ve probably had little or no real help in how to build a business or how to be a successful entrepreneur

- 27. 2. Flexible As a small business owner you must be able to fit your skills upgrade into your busy schedule
- 28. 3. Practical As a small business owner you need help that is ‘hands on’ more than theory
- 29. Look for tips and help about the ‘here and now’ in your business which can be implemented and make a noticeable difference quickly
- 30. 4. Targeted Generalised information is far less helpful than practical help on the topic you want.
- 31. For this reason you need to be able to choose from a list of topics rather than a fixed format you can’t change
- 32. 5. Quick and Easy As a business owner you want information which you can get to and use without lots of explanation.
