- 2. MDAS MDAS stands for Multiplication OR Division, and Addition OR Subtraction
- 3. SOLVING USING MDAS RULE 1) Start solving the equation FROM LEFT to RIGHT. 2) Perform ALL the Multiplication OR Division operations from left to right, whichever comes first. 3) Then, Perform the Addition OR Subtraction operations from left to right, whichever comes first.
- 4. EXAMPLES 67 − 29 + 8 = 𝑁 1) Here, we perform first the MULTIPLICATION OR DIVISION FROM LEFT TO RIGHT. There’s NO MULTIPLICATION OR DIVISION OPERATION, so we proceed to next step.
