This document proposes a computational dynamic trust model for user authorization. The model distinguishes trusting belief in integrity from competence. Unlike other trust models, it accounts for subjectivity in trust ratings between different entities. The model was tested against other trust models in simulations, showing it better predicts behaviors of unstable users. Key contributions are that the model is rooted in social science findings on trust, separates integrity and competence trust, and addresses subjectivity in reputation aggregation.
