This document outlines a study that aimed to develop a Smartboard application for collecting data from children and evaluate its usability. The researcher created an application with interactive activities and games to introduce icons to children aged 7-12 years old. A pilot study and usability testing were conducted to evaluate the application's features, functions, and ability to effectively collect data from children. Results found that the Smartboard was an engaging tool for children and provided useful data through observation of interactions, interviews, and analysis of artifacts created by the children on the Smartboard. The study contributed a new method for collecting data from children using interactive Smartboard technology.
