This document announces the fall kick-off for ACM M&M's, a new mentoring program by ACM Outreach for women in computer science at UCLA. Upperclassmen mentors will be paired with underclassmen mentees and participate in events together such as meeting female industry professionals and professors. - #4: First of all, what does M&Ms stand for? UCLA ACM’s president, Akshay, came up with the idea for shortening Mentors & Mentees, which was a mouthful and really couldn’t fit well on our Facebook cover photo. The M&Ms program is targeted toward women in computer science at UCLA, and we hope to bring together mentors, those who are upperclassmen, and mentees, underclassmen.
