ADOBE SPARK ASSIGNMENT
For this assignment, you will be asked to create a strategic
content creation assignment using Adobe Spark products
on the following (choose one):
1) your client for the class;
2) a local business / nonprofit or organization; or
3) your own personal brand (ex. digital responsive
resume) as a way to market yourself as a social
media professional.
These products include Adobe Spark Page, Adobe Spark
Post, and Adobe Spark Video.
Along with creating these creative content elements Adobe
products, you will have to complete a strategic brief
assignment.
You will be asked to do the following:
• Three social graphics using Adobe Spark Post to integrate into your Adobe Spark page.
• Two links to additional resources (ex. websites, videos, social media accounts, etc) within your strategic
brief on your Adobe Spark Page.
• One web story using Adobe Spark Page (for your strategic brief).
• BONUS (Optional): You can create one video using Adobe Spark Video
You will need to share your strategic brief (using Adobe Spark Page) via Twitter using the #Freberg17 hashtag by 10
am EST. No late assignments will be accepted.
Strategic Brief (formatted as Adobe Spark Page)
• Introduction to Adobe Spark: What is Adobe Spark? What are the products and what are some of
the applications and benefits/ challenges in using these tools (3-4 sentences).
• Overview of the focus of this assignment (ex. client for class, you as your own personal brand, or
an organization/ local business you want to work with): Who are you focusing on for this assignment? (3-4
sentences)
• Key Audiences (who are you targeting). Demographic and psychographic insights are key to point out
here for this particular audience who may be receptive to these posts and Adobe Spark. Are they aware of
these products? What are some of the opportunities here to explore with these tools? (2-3 sentences).
• Strategic Mindset What are some of the unique characteristics for the focus here for your
client/organization/ or you yourself? Who are your target audiences? What is the story you want to
communicate and share with this audience with these products? (4-5 sentences).
• Objectives [what is the overall objective to accomplish with this initiative?] To help raise awareness of a
particular program a nonprofit is doing? Create buzz for a new restaurant? Market yourself for an internship
or job? (1-2 sentences). Have at least two objectives.
• [how are we going to accomplish our objectives?] with what resources and communicationStrategies
tools [tactics]? How will you use Adobe Spark products perhaps to help accomplish your objectives? Make
sure to have at least two strategies with two tactics at least. (4-6 sentences)
• Summary points What are some call-to-actions statements you want others to note about your client /
local business or organization / of yourself? What are some additional resources (LINKS) to using Adobe
Spark products (Have at least TWO here) (4-6 sentences)
• Provide contact information of your self (ex. Links to Twitter page / LinkedIn, etc).
• References [all in APA style] for images + resources.
