This lesson plan is for an intermediate level conversation class for students aged 20-26. The class will take place on Mondays from 3-5pm. The objectives are to learn new vocabulary about changing times, discuss lifestyles and trends in healthcare and diets, and review the use of relative pronouns. Students will learn vocabulary, share experiences in groups, watch a video, and have a debate on veganism/vegetarianism. The teacher is Daniel Felipe Valencia Eraso and he is a ninth semester student.

- 1. Advanced Conversation III Lesson Plan A. Description of the class Level: Intermediate Population: Students between 20 -26 years old Schedule: This class will be taking place on Monday (3 -5 p.m.) B. Objectives Learning new vocabulary about changing times. Talking about life styles and new healthcare and dietary trends. Students will make a review about relative pronouns and their correct use. C. Contents Objective 1: Estimated time 25 minutes Context: Being able to identify and use the new vocabulary about changing times. Activity:Students will be provided with the vocabulary required for talking about changing times in different ways; some grammatical aspects will be reviewed.Then, the class will be broken down into groups of four students for them to share some personal experiences about their own health care and dietary trends. Aids: Sheets of paper with useful information in them. Language: The vocabulary previously learnt. Possible Problems: Confusion when talking about some dietary trends. Objective 2: Estimated time 15 minutes Context: Watching a video about changing times in health care and dietary trends. Activity: Students will be watching a video related to dietary trends and health care. Aids: Video Language: The vocabulary recently presented in the video. Possible Problems:Little communication breakdowns referring to the vocabulary used in the video.

Aids: None Language: The vocabulary acquired through the whole session. Possible Problems: Little mistakes related to grammar and structure when arguing their points of view.
